Our Motto:

Our Mission:

1.         To promote the study and practice of professional fields relating to Foreign Service, diplomacy, and other careers related to international affairs.

2.         To serve internationally through charities and service.

3.         To provide DPE members a network of students, faculty, and professionals who share similar interests. This network will be built through weekly fraternity meetings, social events, and discussions by faculty and professionals in their chosen fields.

4.         To build strong relations with DPE chapters nationally.

5.         To promote brotherhood and camaraderie amongst the members of DPE. 

 


What We Do:

  • Host weekly meetings that focus on specific global topics

  • Host speakers, ranging from noted Professors to local NGOs, who present their research and findings to us

  • Forge strong bonds through internationally-themed social events (international potlucks, etc)

  • Take group trips to places like the World Affairs Council in SF, political rallies, and campus events

  • Engage in volunteer and fundraising activities (such as the "Run 4 Peace" in October

  • Sponsor campus-wide events, such as "The Balance of Power in the 21st Century" or "International Internship Info. Session"

  • Provide professional development such as resume and interview workships, along with valuable study groups and preparation for the Foreign Service Exam
